Our Vision
Land-based hub
Tree of Life Guild envisions a land-based hub at 181 Huguenot Street that anchors herbal healthcare, nature education, and regenerative land care in the New Paltz region.
Stewardship
We will secure and steward this land as a thriving, place-based herbal economic ecosystem by supporting land-based livelihoods for herbalists, farmers, medicine makers and educators.
Access
We will expand access to holistic healthcare and herbal education through community clinics, sliding-scale workshops, and public gatherings and conferences in partnership with Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Herbalism.

Restore & Protect
We will restore and protect local ecosystems by rewilding habitat, cleaning the river, and integrating regenerative land practices that benefit plants, animals, and people.
Wild learning
We will create outdoor classrooms and wild learning spaces for children and youth in collaboration with local schools, fostering lasting relationships with the more-than-human world.
Community Commons
We will offer a welcoming community commons and meeting space for circles, councils, celebrations, and collaborations focused on health, land stewardship, and justice.
Inspired Approach
We will model an integrated, replicable approach to community health, ecology, and economy that can inspire and be adapted by other communities.
